Vision Collision Works Eco-Friendly “GREEN”
Vision Collision Centers are committed to preserving our communities and our future. We are locally owned and live in the communities where we work. That’s why all our Collision Centers use environmentally-friendly PPG high performance waterborne refinish coatings. Not only is waterborne paint far superior than solvent based paint for the environment, it’s a better finish for your car.
- Most OEM factories now use waterborne paint. This means our paint will allow the closest possible color match for your late model car. Waterborne paint has higher resolution color than traditional solvent based paint so your older vehicle will benefit from our waterborne paint coatings as well.
- The PPG waterborne refinish system reduces volatile emissions over traditional solvent based systems by up to 80%. This means we have significantly improved the air quality for the Vision Collision work environment and in the surrounding community.
- Vision Collision has drastically reduced our hazardous waste production by 75% by using waterborne products. Our hazardous waste production is so low in fact our Collision Centers don’t even qualify as small quantity hazardous waste generators according to the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.
- Waterborne paint coatings are so durable, PPG offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty for as long as you own your vehicle.
- PPG waterborne paint is compliant with current and future Federal Air Quality Legislation. Vision Collision has received exemptions for all our stores from the E.P.A. regarding new laws that regulate heavy metals and V.O.C.’s because our paint does not contain any of these compounds.
