Our MDU was designed with awareness in mind...awareness of Drinking and Driving that is. We have joined in with MADD(Mothers Against Drunk Driving) to get the message out to the communities around us. The MDU made it%26apos;s first appearance in 2005 at the state capitol for the %26quot;Tie one on for safety%26quot; campaign kickoff. Ever since then it has not stopped moving around the communities. It has seen prom seasons at Haslett, Holt, Okemos and East Lansing. In front of a beer tent in Grand Rapids, inside the Meridian Mall (see photo), Trinity Church, many area insurance agents offices and the list goes on. If you would like to add your name to this list please e-mail us with the date you would like to reserve and a contact name and number and we will be in touch. There is NO charge for the MDU, however if you want to make a donation to MADD, they will not turn it down. The local chapters are completely self-funded and can always use donations to keep their programs up and running. There is also a front sign on the MDU that can be customized to your event or business at no charge. You will want to keep it simple and short. If possible word it in a way that it can be used again for another event for you in the future. Example: %26quot;Haslett High School asks you not to Drink %26amp; Drive%26quot;. Gets the point across and can be used at any event and any time of the year. We can certainly help you dial in the wording if you so desire. Just let us know in your e-mail and we will cover it with you when we call.
